Circuits and Conductors.
As scientists experimented with circuits, they discovered that some materials let electric charges pass them them while other would not.  The former became known as conductors, and the latter as insulators. This information is later used to show how such components were used in everything from radios to space satellites.

Eyewitness Skeleton
This spread compares different types of skulls. Other pages show that other animals have different types of skeleton, such as the Arthropods (insects, crustaceans, spiders) that have external skeletons and animals that have unique skeleton, such as the turtle that has both a bone skeleton and an external shell.  Emphasis is on human skeleton, but invaluable for comparative anatomy.
